boot Düsseldorf 2026: Freestyle Tow In confirmed - top riders in the action pool

The freestyle contest on the XXL pool in Hall 17 created a mega atmosphere this year and the riders were celebrated frenetically. It was therefore an obvious choice to organise the spectacle for 2026, and yesterday the event was confirmed by the FPT (Freestyle Pro Tour). The contest will take place on the second weekend of the trade fair from 23 to 25 January. If we stick to this year's schedule, we can expect a warm-up on Friday, the preliminary round on Saturday and the grand final on Sunday.

The top 6 men from the 2025 season and the top two women will be taking part. There are also two wildcards for the men and one for the women. So there is a good chance of seeing many top riders such as Lennart Neubauer, Yentel Caers, Steven van Broeckhoven, Niclas Nebelung, Lisa Kloster and Maaike Huvermann live on the pool course

2025 was won by Lennart Neubauer, who raved about the indoor contest afterwards: "It's a mega cool experience to have the first World Cup here at boot. The support from the audience here is incredible. It was really fun. And it's events like this that help to make the sport bigger and better known!" Women's winner Maaike Huvermann described the challenge of the tow-in in the hall: "It's really challenging to perform here on the pool because it's so short. But we put on a good show and landed some cool moves!"

boot Düsseldorf runs from 17 to 25 January 2026, and everything to do with windsurfing, SUP and wingfoiling will once again take place in Hall 17!
