With two wins from three heats, Fabian Wolf impressively demonstrated yesterday that he has joined the world’s elite! Today the action continues with foil slalom. Can Fabi stay at the top? Matteo Iachino is hot on his heels with an impressive run of second-place finishes, whilst Amado Vrieswijk has plenty of speed but, despite a win yesterday, wasn’t quite consistent enough.
All these top sailors are lying in wait today for a chance to move further up the field. The offshore wind is in full force at 20 knots and above, and the course runs south of the promenade to minimise the wind shadow!
