The Westenergie surf camp will take place on 27 and 28 April at Lake Dümmer. Professional surfer Dennis Müller and raceboarder Richard Sprenger will prepare young people for the season, both with a fin and on a foil.

The Windsurfing Club Dümmer See is once again offering a surf camp for young people at the start of the season this year. There are still places available for young people from all over Germany who want to develop their skills. They will once again be instructed by DWC pro Dennis Müller and, for the first time, by raceboarder Richard Sprenger. "The training is good preparation for the upcoming season. The infrastructure at the WSCD is ideal and Lake Dümmer is centrally located in Germany," says Dennis.

He is responsible for everything to do with foiling: "Whether you are a beginner or an advanced surfer, you are very welcome to take your foiling skills to the next level with us!" Dennis will accompany you from a boat or directly from the surfboard and give you helpful tips.

Richard Sprenger will accompany you for the weekend with everything apart from foiling. "As an experienced raceboarder and former Techno 293 rider, Richard is the perfect coach for both disciplines, but you can also register for our camp as a funboarder. Depending on the number of registrations, we will decide which group to assign you to," write the organisers.

  • Costs: The participation fee is €70 per person. The price includes the training itself as well as two lunches and a barbecue evening.
  • Registration: Please register by e-mail to info@windsurfingclub-duemmersee.de
  • Arrival and timetable: The actual camp starts on Saturday morning. For those arriving on Friday afternoon, there will be a small get-together in the evening. Here everyone can get to know each other and the programme for Saturday will be discussed. The camp will take place on the grounds of the Dümmer Lake Surf Centre at Rohrdommelweg 36.
  • Catering: There will be a communal meal at the sailing club next door on both Saturday and Sunday. Parents are also welcome to join them for a small fee. A barbecue is also planned for Saturday evening. So there will be plenty of food and energy on the water.
  • To the Overnight stay you can stay at the campsite at the Dümmersee surf centre, for example, or book a flat nearby. If we have aroused your interest, please get in touch with us. We are of course always happy to answer any questions you may have.
