The Freestyle Pro Tour (FPT) is getting ready for one of the highlights of the season: The stop on the Greek island of Paros is scheduled from 29 June to 2 July 2025. The 6-star event not only promises top-class freestyle action, but also attracts participants with prize money totalling 10,000 euros. Particularly pleasing for all athletes: The current wind forecast for the event days looks more than promising.
According to the current forecasts, participants can expect ideal wind conditions. The forecast shows a stable wind pattern that is similar to the current wind on site. These prospects not only make the event attractive for riders who have already registered, but also offer last-minute decision-makers a good reason to sign up at short notice.
The FPT event on Paros presents itself as a highlight in the tour calendar: in addition to the Freestyle Pro Men category, it is also an official Youth and Junior event. The competition thus offers a platform for up-and-coming talents to compete with the best on the scene. For four days, the participants will put their skills to the test in the turquoise waters of the Aegean.
For last-minute travellers who still want to take part in the event, there is good news regarding travel. The best travel options are to fly to Athens in pairs, threes or fours. From there, we recommend hiring a car at the airport and taking it on the ferry to Paros. This option offers maximum flexibility on site, the organiser recommends.
The organisers emphasise that it is still possible to take part on Paros. However, interested riders should act quickly. If you have any questions, please contact Tour Manager Jo at jo@freestyleprotour.com available.
The event on Paros is part of an ambitious FPT calendar for 2025. With a total of twelve events planned in various disciplines, the season promises a dense series of highlights. Particularly exciting: A cooperation with the PWA for a 9-star cup in Brazil is being planned. The FPT is thus emphasising its claim to be the "Home of Freestyle Windsurfing".
