The days are getting longer - after the long and rainy winter, this day gave us a taste of spring for the first time
A good westerly wind and bright sunshine attracted numerous windsurfers to the Weissenhaus spot today. Here are the best pictures of the (perceived) start to spring on the Baltic Sea.

Westerly winds of 20 to 25 knots, bright sunshine and a cosy ten degrees - that was the forecast for this Saturday. Weissenhaus, a spot on the Baltic Sea, also experienced a slight feeling of spring for the first time today. The wind was already blowing at 2 p.m. with winds of 4.2 to 4.7 square metres and some moderate Baltic Sea waves rolled onto the beach. The surf didn't really want to get going that day and the wind kept showing its patchy side. Nevertheless, after the long grey season, it was great to get some sun on the water again and twirl a few loops.
