Midsummer got off to a cool start in Denmark, but it was sunny, wavy and very windy. Here you can see the best pictures from the last few days.

Into the car in shorts and a T-shirt - four hours later, when we opened the car door in Hanstholm, we were quickly looking for long clothes. 16 degrees, thick clouds, grey North Sea water - Monday evening was not for fair-weather surfers. The waves slowly got going at 7.00 pm and after we'd had some visual instruction from Köster & Co in the PWA lifestream, we headed out onto the water. Sets up to head-high rolled in, a relaxed way to get into the groove for the following Tuesday.

On this day, Hanstholm showed its other side - with great weather and 25 to 30 knots of wind from midday, which blew slightly sideonshore and really got the North Sea going over the course of the day. There were great jumping conditions and logo-high sets, most of the protagonists were sailing with sails between 3.7 and 4.5. In the gallery above you can find impressions of this beautiful "summer day".
