In perfect conditions, Vincent Langer secured the lead in the Fin Slalom of the GWA Championship on Sylt with five first places. The multiple champion gave the competition no chance, while the youngsters also impressed with strong performances.

In fantastic conditions, Vincent Langer came out on top of the field in the Fin Slalom on the third day of the GWA Championship on Sylt. The multiple German, European and world champion dominated one day after his victory in waveriding with an almost flawless performance and won five of the six races held.

Behind the outstanding Langer, Gunnar Asmussen also put in a commanding performance. The runner-up secured victory in the first race of the day, but was unable to break Langer's dominance in the following races. Fabian Wolf finished in third place, impressing with consistently high placings. The top 5 was completed by Alexander Neubert and Tjorve Studt.

The performance of the young athletes was particularly pleasing. Keno Recke impressed in the U21 classification with a strong sixth place overall. Even more remarkable was the performance of Mika Henning, who set a strong example as an U17 rider with eighth place among the much older competition. He was followed by Oliver Schott, a grandmaster in the over 50s category.
