Things got hot in Cold Hawaii at the beginning of August. You can find impressions of the last two sessions in the photo gallery.

A warm weekend in August, in the middle of the holiday season - it was clear that you wouldn't be alone on the water at the Cold Hawaii spots. On Saturday, both the mussel reef in Klitmoller and Hanstholm were a good choice in west-south-westerly winds of 25 knots. While there were good jumping conditions and ramps up to 2.5 metres high in Klitmøller, the wind in Hanstholm was blowing diagonally offshore and provided good down-the-line conditions on head-high set waves. However, you had to be patient to catch one of these, and you were rarely alone on a wave.

Christian Kohl pulled out his camera during his surf breaks and took some pictures, in the picture gallery at the beginning of the article you can get a good impression of the conditions on Saturday in Hanstholm. On Sunday there were classic Hanstholm conditions as an afterthought, with 20 to 25 knots of wind from the west-north-west, head-high waves and sunshine from early to late.
