Sebastian Kördel also fulfils his dream of competing in the Olympics
Not enough wind for the Medal Races on the final day of the Trofeo Princesa Sofia on Mallorca. As a result, nothing changed in the ranking: Pawel Tarnowski and Mina Mobekk won, Theresa Steinlein came sixth and Sebastian Kördel achieved the internal Olympic standard.

Waiting game at the end of the traditional Trofia Princesa Sofia regatta on Mallorca. In the end, there was not enough wind for the iQFoiler Medal Races and the ranking from the preliminary races also represents the final ranking: Pawel Tarnowski won the men's race ahead of Nicolas Goyard and Yun Pouliquen, while Mina Mobekk and Maya Gysler claimed a one-two victory for Norway ahead of France's Lola Sorin in the women's classification.

Theresa Steinlein, who has already fulfilled the internal Olympic standard, remains in sixth place, Sebastian Kördel finishes the regatta in a somewhat disappointing 13th place. He had to hope that the New Zealander Josh Armit would not finish in the top three, but the sixth-placed Armit did not get a chance without further races and Kördel can be happy about the Olympic ticket.

Both are expected to be officially nominated for the Olympic Games in June.
