Third place went to Chilean local hero Felipe Wedeles, while Cristobal Zegers finished the final in fourth place.
Strong Masters, strong Australians
The participants already showed their high level in the semi-finals. Cristobal Zegers won Heat 1 with a strong score of 12.16, followed by Peter Kenyon. Michael Viscovich and Charlie Rovira, who started the event as number 1 in the Masters World Rolling Rankings, completed the field. In Heat 2, Arnaud Frennet came out on top just ahead of Felipe Wedeles. The placings of the other participants underline the high level of performance in the Masters sector: Michael Viscovich and Michael Friedl, the 2024 Masters World Champion, shared fifth place. Charlie Rovira and Ruedi Brodowski finished together in seventh place.
Peter Kenyon's success is part of an impressive overall performance by the Australian team at the Surazo World Cup. Jane Seman secured victory in the women's category, while Peter's daughter Sarah Kenyon made it through to the junior final.
