Fancy taking part in an event like this?
Choppy Water is looking for a new trainee for the profession of event manager for August 2025. Among other things, the agency organises the California Windsurf Cup.

Anyone who would like to be actively involved in water sports events can now apply for a training position at Choppy Water. In addition to the Windsurf Cup, the agency also organises the Kitesurf Masters and other events. "We are looking for a new trainee for the profession of event manager from August 2025. We would be delighted to get to know you better in advance during a paid internship," writes Choppy Water. The training programme lasts three years, but there is an option to shorten it. The company is based in Stein near Kiel. "While working hours vary in the summer, we offer a flexitime model in the office (starting between 7:00 and 10:00), which allows everyone to organise their daily routine individually."

All trainees are given the opportunity to take on tasks independently and to surpass themselves. The agency promises to focus on both professional and personal development. The tasks include designing advertising materials, creating social media postings and developing new event ideas. "During your training, you will get to know lots of great and exciting people. Be it partners, sponsors, athletes or your new work colleagues."

Applicants are required to have a technical college entrance qualification or A-levels, a class B driving licence (possibly also BE), language skills in German and English, communication skills, the ability to work in a team and knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Interested parties can contact Lena Baasch at event@choppywater.de.
