"Winch windsurfing isn't about the best time, it's about the best trick," explains the reporter. That's right: Niclas Nebelung was able to conjure up a trick combination of air funnel and burner in the small harbour basin and deserved first place. But he was closely followed by Jannes Thomsen, who performed a Flakashaka, and Foivos Tsoupras, who made the large audience cheer with a beautiful Airfunnel into Funnel.
The spectators are close to the harbour basin and can experience the freestyle action up close, which is usually not the case at normal windsurfing contests on open waters.
