Liam Dunkerbeck himself also mentions his father's name first when it comes to outstanding qualities. In our series, Liam tells us what he would like to learn from him and other legends!

Liam, if you could steal three skills, things or traits from other riders, what would they be?

I would like to start with my father Björn Dunkerbeck. He was the best in the sport for many years. Nobody else has the discipline, stamina and dedication to windsurfing! He lives for windsurfing. From morning to night, every day of the week.

And your second "steal"?

And then Braw! This all-round performance, which he has shown with great consistency for several years. He can be the best in Pozo and also the best in Hookipa, the best with side onshore and sideshore wind, the best with wind from the left and from the right.

Can you imagine one day becoming such an all-rounder with an absolute world-class level in all conditions?

Phew, it takes a lot of time and dedication to windsurf, and you have to try very, very hard, no matter what the conditions are like.

And the third?

The style of Kai Lenny in Hookipa. He's been my idol for a long time and a huge inspiration for me. His equipment and his style are just as different, because he surfs the wave like a surfer.
