Mega action & crashes: Martin and Traversa on a mission in La Reunion
When two of the best waveriders - Antoine Martin and Thomas Traversa - surf the rock-hard waves of La Reunion, spectacular entertainment is guaranteed. This clip is a highlight!

La Reunion is located in the Indian Ocean, east of Madagascar, and is considered one of the most challenging wave areas on the planet. Spots such as Ravine Blanche or L' Etang Salé are famous among wave surfers for their clean, perfect waves - and notorious for their material-killing reefs. Just the thing for two pain-free windsurfing pros. Antoine Martin has always been known for his"Do-or-die attitude" known in the wave. And former world champion Thomas Traversa is regarded as aKing of the Big Waves, for which no lip can be too fat.

The duel between the two in La Reunion is correspondingly fierce: There are monstrous aerials and some of the most violent wipeouts to be seen in recent times. The crash part at the end of the clip in particular will give you goosebumps. But see for yourself...
