Freestyle world champion Yentel Caers and Lake Garda local Greta Marchegger will be on hand at the NeilPryde and JP-Australia Kids Camp on Lake Garda to coach the participants and work on their next manoeuvres. The training runs from 2 to 9 September at the Segnana surf centre in Torbole.
"Whether you are an intermediate or experienced windsurfer, our professional instructors will take your windsurfing skills to the next level: Improve your planing and jibing technique, perfect your power jibes or maybe go one step further by improving your jumps, learning your first freestyle tricks or gaining insights into regatta windsurfing!", promise the organisers. This camp will take everyone further.
All participants can borrow the latest equipment from JP-Australia and NeilPryde from Segnana. Two sessions per day are planned on the water, which are then analysed on video. Before and after each session there will be discussions about the content and progress. Wingfoiling, SUP and other water sports can also be tried out. On some evenings there is also a joint programme; if there is no wind, SUP regattas or light wind tricks are planned.
The camp itself is free of charge, but the kids have to hire the equipment from Segnana Watersports. Parents receive a discount on their own equipment hire during this time, and they must also organise their own accommodation. You can register by e-mail to hendrik.holzhauer@pryde-group.de .
