SURF

Title hero Balz Müller is a big fan of modern fun boards - boards that work in almost all conditions, have a wide range and are primarily designed to be fun! This is exactly what applies to the nine models in our big freemovetest: boards around 115 litres that work in flat water as well as in moderate waves, with sails from 4.5 to 7.2, and that make everyone happy, from planing intermediates to advanced manoeuvre surfers. And - this much can be revealed - they do!
We are also reviving a real cult manoeuvre: The table top was part of every wave heat for decades and still looks extremely stylish! Flo Jung shows you how to turn the board "upside down" and get back under it safely! There are also preliminary exercises such as the donkey kick and all the tips for the crucial cruxes! And if you'd rather stay down (for now), we'll show you the easiest way to get into the foot straps in our new "Ask surf" section.
And another new section awaits you from surf 3/2026: In "Pros & Cons", two authors take a stand on a windsurfing-related topic. To kick things off, it's all about the question of "camping or free-standing" - in line with the second part of our camping special, in which this time we present places in the Netherlands that are right by the spot!
