Our sister magazines YACHT and BOOTE EXCLUSIV are jointly looking for an editorial reinforcement for print and online in Hamburg.

The magazines YACHT and BOOTE EXCLUSIV are jointly advertising a full-time editorial traineeship for the Panorama department, focussing on travel, portraits, adventure and utility, to start as soon as possible.

The editorial teams of the magazines YACHT, BOOTE, SURF, SUP, WING and BOOTE EXCLUSIV work at the Delius Klasing site in Hamburg. Websites, digital editions, newsletters, apps, books and events round off the publisher's offering for water sports enthusiasts. Delius Klasing is a leading special interest publisher in the fields of water sports, cycling, motoring and football.

These tasks await you:

  • A two-year magazine traineeship in which you will get to know and master all aspects of journalistic work
  • The most exciting thematic environment you can imagine
  • Lots of feedback and guidance from professionals who have been working as page makers for many years with the same passion as you
  • Training and further education at renowned journalistic training institutes

What you bring with you:

  • Ideally, a degree in communications or comparable knowledge from a qualified training programme
  • Great enthusiasm for sailing with all its facets
  • You already have several years of experience on boats, are not easily distracted from the course and you have the necessary sailing licences (SBF Binnen/See, SKS or higher)
  • High motivation for working as a journalist
  • You have already gained some practical experience during school or university
  • Familiarity with social networks, enjoy communicating at eye level, keen to take your readers and followers out on the water with you
  • Good knowledge of English
