Preview: These highlights await you at the 2026 Surf Festival powered by SALITOS

You've already noticed it from the name: with SALITOS, we have a new partner at the Surf Festival who has come up with some great ideas for you! In addition to the large SALITOS stage including a giant screen and the tasty and varied mixed drinks in eight flavours, you can look forward to other activities. T-shirts, key rings and other gadgets will be handed out every day, and there will also be great prizes such as a SUP, an Airwheel or a cosy Relax Lounger for the terrace or garden.

Bauck Mühle Müsli is also new at the surf festival: all beach campers can pick up a healthy crunchy breakfast every morning from 9.30 am at the surf stand, and you can also win five surprise packages on site.

Festival shirt from HiFly

One of the most frequently asked questions: Is there a festival T-shirt? Yes, HiFly has once again designed a stylish shirt for 2026, the perfect souvenir! You can buy the shirt and many other HiFly items in the pop-up store at the festival - all beach campers will receive a 20 per cent voucher for their purchase there.

As always, the centrepiece is of course testing - all the well-known manufacturers will be bringing their latest 2026 equipment to Südstrand, and you can test your way through boards, sails and more. All you have to do is register once at the test centre on the beach and bring a valid ID with you. At the test centre, you will receive a test card with which you can borrow equipment from all participating exhibitors. The test card will be deposited with the brand of your choice for your test period and returned to you after successful testing. Parents should register their underage children in the name of a parent or guardian who must be present at the event. Pre-registration is not necessary.

Party around the SALITOS stage

What would the surf festival be without the legendary parties? At the large SALITOS stage in the centre of the festival site, you can enjoy the atmosphere during the day with a tasty snack from the numerous food trucks. There will be non-stop windsurfing action on the big screen, and in the evening you can party with the mixed drinks from SALITOS! Dithmarscher, a North German classic among beers, will also be at the start. The drinks from Waterkant will keep you refreshed throughout the day, even between sessions, and in addition to water and lemonade, there will also be a big treasure hunt waiting for you.

Of course you can get your groove on every night: On Thursday, DJ Geminae will play a mash-up of hits and charts, on Friday Nina Hepburn will bring you melodic sounds between house and techno and on Saturday Steve Clash will provide a cracking finale with disco, hypes and classics. And if you can't get enough, you can continue partying after the last song in the Silent Disco with DJ Anvious on all days!
