The 37th Gran Canaria Gloria Windsurf World Cup came to an end with an action-packed final. A chaotic super session rounded off the event, with Marino Gil Gherarid and Daida Moreno winning once again

On the last day of the Gran Canaria Gloria Windsurf World Cup 2025, there was once again the full programme of action. While the final decisions were made in the youth and master classes, the pros took to the water for a super session.

In the Boys U15 category, Yannik Kolb Gonzalez successfully defended his victory from the single elimination against Koa Fabbio. In the Girls U13 category, Trine Gobisch completed the overall success with her third consecutive victory in the final. In the Masters class, Mike Friedl benefited from the premature departure of Lars Gobisch, who had been in the lead until then, to secure overall victory. Friedl successfully defended his second place against Toni Pijoan's comeback attempt.

Chaotic super session as the crowning finale

The highlight of the day was the half-hour super session in the afternoon. All participants took to the water at the same time - chaos in front of Pozo! In the end, there was a competition for the best double loop. Marino Gil came out on top in the men's category, followed by Philip Köster and Ricardo Campello. Daida Moreno won the women's competition ahead of Sol Degrieck and Justyna Sniady.
