In Formula 1, the constructors' championship is more important to some teams than individual driver titles. Whether this is also the case in windsurfing remains to be seen, but Starboard and Severne will be delighted. The two brands collected the most points across all disciplines in the 2024 season.

Starboard not only won the overall standings for the boards, but also the Wave, Freestyle and Slalom X disciplines, with FMX Racing coming out on top only in the Foil Slalom. With Lennart Neubauer and no less than three titles for Sarah-Quita Offringa (Wave, Freestyle and Slalom X), the Starboard riders were extremely strong. In the Foil Slalom, World Champion Justine Lemeteyer and Vice World Champion Daniele Benedetti scored the decisive points for FMX Racing.

Among the sailing brands, Severne came out on top in two disciplines: In wave and freestyle, the sails from Australia are ahead according to the PWA's calculations, not least thanks to Lennart Neubauer's World Championship title, top placings from Lina Erpenstein and a strong and large team. However, the lead over the second-placed brand NeilPryde is only a wafer-thin 0.25 points. In Slalom X, NeilPryde, the brand of world champion Sarah-Quita Offringa, is in front, while Patrik leads the ranking in Foil Slalom.
