The PWA has updated the calendar for 2024 and the junior event on Bonaire has been postponed by one day. Otherwise, the schedule includes many well-known events and a few new spots - and many Junior World Cups!

The Slalom World Cup for juniors on Bonaire has been postponed by one day and will now take place from 21 to 25 May. The pros will not continue until the end of June in Pozo, while the first two Wave World Cups in Japan and Chile have already been completed. These are the World Cups for the rest of the year - from Wave and Freestyle to Slalom and the new discipline Slalom X.

  • 8 - 12 May: Aruba (Slalom Juniors)
  • 21 - 25 May: Bonaire (Slalom Juniors)
  • 29 June - 7 July: Pozo/Gran Canaria (Wave, Foil Slalom, Slalom X)
  • 14 - 20 July: El Medano/Tenerife (Wave)
  • 25 July - 3 August: Sotavento/Fuerteventura (Freestyle, Foil Slalom, Slalom X)
  • 4 - 7 August: Pacasmayo/Peru (Wave)
  • 2 - 14 September: Cloudbreak/Fiji (Wave)
  • 12 - 22 September: Klitmöller/Denmark (Wave Juniors)
  • 27 September - 6 October: Sylt/Germany (Wave, Freestyle, Foil Slalom)
  • 9 - 13 October: Alacati/Turkey (Slalom Juniors)
  • 21 October - 8 November: Maui/Hawaii (Wave)
  • 7 - 12 November: Yokosuka/Japan (Foil Slalom)
  • 19 - 23 November: Noumea/New Caledonia (Foil Slalom)

The events in Tenerife and New Caledonia have not yet been confirmed, and the entire calendar is described as "provisional". Experience has shown that events are often cancelled during the course of the year due to a lack of funds or political uncertainties.

In addition to the already well-known wave events, the many Junior Word Cups stand out, with a small tour of the Caribbean in May. Alacati and Klitmøller are now firmly established as junior regattas. As expected, the new Slalom X discipline is initially scheduled for Pozo and Fuerte, while Foil Slalom will be held at a total of five regattas. The freestylers will once again have to make do with just two World Cups (Fuerte, Sylt).
