Lisa Kloster’s third-place finish on Fuerteventura and at the Freestyle World Championships was deemed newsworthy enough by ZDF to feature in a report on “heute Xpress”. Alongside Kloster, world champion Sarah-Quita Offringa also has her say.

With Lisa Kloster, a German has made it onto the World Championship podium for the second year running, which is also attracting attention from the major media outlets. ZDF reported on Lisa’s success on Fuerteventura in this feature on “heute Xpress”, combining exciting action sequences with short interviews. The presenter even attempts to explain the meaning of “Culo”...

Lisa Kloster had finished third at the PWA World Cup on Fuerteventura and, for the second time since 2025, took third place in the World Championships. Ahead of her, Maaike Huvermann and record-breaking world champion Sarah-Quita Offringa were locked in a thrilling duel, which Offringa only managed to win in the Super Final. Following her victory in the World Championships’ single elimination, Huvermann came closer than ever before to causing a major upset.

Just as in the men’s event, the iconic Sotavento spot on Fuerte was particularly challenging this year: winds of around 30 knots and an incoming swell created very demanding conditions, but also provided perfect ramps for massive aerial manoeuvres.
