A total of eleven cross-discipline events are on the programme. With the SOMWR Cabo Verde World Cup, a cracker could be revived at the start of the season, which - if the conditions are right - could provide unbeatable wave conditions at the hardcore spot Ponta Preta.

The programme also includes three stops in the Canary Islands: Gran Canaria (wave and possibly slalom; 9 - 17 July), Fuerteventura (slalom & freestyle; 28 July - 6 August) and Tenerife (wave; 8 - 14 August).
Also currently confirmed are the events in Bol/Croatia (slalom; 4-9 July), the Youth Wave World Cup in Klitmøller, Denmark (11-17 September) and, of course, the Mercedes-Benz Windsurf World Cup on Sylt, which will take place from 23 September to 2 October with the disciplines slalom, freestyle and wave.
However, the two events planned for the first half of the year in the Maldives (slalom) and in Israel (slalom) as well as two Slalom World Cups in Torbole and Yokosuka/Japan scheduled for the autumn are in doubt because they have not yet been finally confirmed.
Let's hope that the pandemic comes to an end this summer and that organisers, riders and spectators can look forward to numerous events again after the long dry spell.
