The NASA House in Klitmøller will soon be the headquarters of the Junior World Cup again.
From 13 to 20 September, the best young worldcuppers will be competing for points for the ranking list in Klitmøller and Hanstholm. The event could bring a preliminary decision in wave riding before the finals in Hawaii and Australia.

The World Cup in Cold Hawaii has been one of the highlights on the PWA calendar for years - recently the juniors have taken centre stage here. While on the one hand it is a shame that the top spots around Klitmøller are no longer on the schedule of the top pros, on the other hand the event offers an excellent stage for the U18 and U21 riders. The World Championship decisions will be made elsewhere this season, but there could still be many ground-breaking results in Denmark.

Anton Richter on course for a podium finish in the U21s

The Pro Junior U21 World Championship, like the Pro World Championship, will be decided at the legendary Aloha Classic from 13 to 24 October off Ho'okipa. Australian Jake Ghiretti leads the boys' competition with 20,000 points, closely followed by Anton Richter (17,650 points) and Australian Oliver Desforges (16,150 points).

In the girls' competition, there is currently an exciting neck-and-neck race at the top between Spain's Alexia Kiefer Quintana and Australia's Sarah Kenyon, who both have 20,000 points to their name. Australia's Jaiya Mars Morris and Spain's Maria Morales Navarro are tied for the next places with 17,000 points each.

U18 final with double points in Geraldton

The Junior U18 season will conclude in a double points Grand Final in Geraldton, Western Australia, from 10 to 18 January 2026. According to the IWT, this will be the first time that a junior final has been held in Australia. Paul van Bellen's Wave Rally will also be starting its second year at the same venue.

Spain's Javier Escribano Toribio leads the junior boys' division with 20,000 points, followed by Australia's Tyler Wallrodt (18,500 points) and Japan's Ryoma Sugi (17,650 points). Australia's Sarah Kenyon and Belgium's Sol Degrieck dominate the junior girls' category with 20,000 points each, while Australia's Jaiya Mars Morris and Spain's Lizzlotte Schilling Andrew share third place with 17,000 points each.

Slalom on the Limfjord again?

In addition to waveriding, fin and foil slalom are also on the programme. Last year, the Limfjord near Thisted was used for this. There were already junior-only events on Bonaire and Aruba, where the De Jong sisters and Frenchman Brendan Lorho dominated. After the World Cup in Denmark, the junior racers will also be competing in Alacati and Miami this season.
