After successful events at the surf festival on Fehmarn and in Kellenhusen in the Lübeck Bay, each with over 50 participants, the windsurfing enthusiasts from the9 to 10 Septemberr again in Hemmelmark near Eckernförde to round off the season.
For those new to the regatta, there will also be anotherROTS Academywhere you can optimally prepare for the upcoming competition weekend in theory and practice. Participants can expect the usual relaxed atmosphere with like-minded people, a BBQ on Saturday evening (included in the entry fee), an award ceremony with a raffle and, of course, plenty of action on the water in the two divisions - Fin Only and Foil Mixed. After the regatta, there will also be the opportunity to pick up a bargain at the Starboard and Severne equipment test pool. Currently, 57 participants have already registered for the last Racer of the Sea of the year.
The ROTS Hemmelmark will be the last chance for all youngsters to get into the lottery pot for a Severne Race Sail, which will be raffled off among all young participants at the end of the season. In addition, all young people who took part in this year's ROTS will have the chance to win a team rider deal with Starboard/Severne Germany.

Manuel Vogel, born in 1981, lives in Kiel and learned to windsurf at the age of six at his father's surf school. In 1997, he completed his training as a windsurfing instructor and worked for over 15 years as a windsurfing instructor in various centers, at Kiel University sports and in the coaching team of the “Young Guns” freestyle camps. He has been part of the surf test team since 2003. After completing his teaching degree in 2013, he followed his heart and started as editor of surf magazine for the test and riding technique sections. Since 2021, he has also been active in wingfoiling - mainly at his home spots on the Baltic Sea or in the waves of Denmark.
