Whether foil or fin, Dennis Müller optimally prepares the youngsters for the Youth and Junior Championships
The GWA Young Guns Camp will take place from 30 August to 3 September 2025 in Heiligenhafen. Under the direction of former windsurfing cupper Dennis Müller, young windsurfers will prepare for the GWA Youth & Junior Championship. The camp offers intensive training for foil and fin riders.

The German Windsurfing Association (GWA) is continuing to promote young talent and is once again organising the GWA Young Guns Camp in Heiligenhafen in 2025. From 30 August to 3 September, ambitious young windsurfers will have the opportunity to improve their riding skills under professional guidance. The five-day training camp will be led by experienced former windsurfing coach and trainer Dennis Müller. It is aimed at young people aged between 11 and 20 who are already confident with the harness and foot straps.

Optimal preparation for the youth championship

One of the main aims of the camp is to optimally prepare the participants for the GWA Youth & Junior Championship, which will take place immediately afterwards. This youth championship will also be held in Heiligenhafen from 4 to 7 September. The training camp therefore offers the perfect opportunity to familiarise themselves with the area and gain valuable tips for the competition. Dennis Müller emphasises the importance of the camp: "I am thrilled to be able to support young and motivated windsurfers on their way and help them get started on a successful regatta career with valuable tips and tricks." He sees the camp as ideal preparation for the championship and emphasises that beginners in the T293 & Foil area can also learn important basics for their first regatta experiences here.

The programme of the GWA Young Guns Camp is wide-ranging and covers all important aspects of windsurfing. The training programme includes, among other things:
