Saltwater Surf Movie Night: Four surf films in the cinema - Alëuten, Vanlife, women power and marine conservation

The film "The Search for Volcano Islands" celebrates its German premiere as part of Surf Movie Night 2025. The visually stunning film follows five brothers on their adventurous surfing expedition to the most remote regions of the Aleutian Islands. Viewers can expect a captivating story about determination, closeness to nature and the dream of the unknown.

The Aleutian Islands are a chain of islands between Alaska and Russia. The film documents not only their search for the perfect surf, but also the challenges they face in this remote wilderness. Viewers witness how the protagonists deal with the extreme weather conditions, the isolated location and the unpredictable waters.

• Tides & Trails - Six adventurers embark on an exciting vanlife-style journey through the Scottish Highlands - equipped with surfboards, mountain bikes and plenty of wanderlust.
