The mental side of Lina Erpenstein, because she is so fearless when jumping. I tend to hold back when there's a lot of wind. And she does stalled forward loops and isn't afraid! I would love to be able to steal that from Lina!
You're beaming at the thought of being able to snatch something from other surfers. What else would you like?
Lennart Neubauer has an incredible focus and gives 110 per cent at all times during the competition! He was also always the first on the water at the Sylt World Cup. If I were him, I would stay on the beach. After he got injured, he started to concentrate so much on his performance as a professional windsurfer that he focusses everything on this. Every part of his life is centred on windsurfing. It's the same for me, but not as much as it is for him. He's just taking windsurfing to the next professional level.
The glow on your face is still there. And I'm sure you already have your next "steal" in mind.
Gollito! He had an incredible flow during the heats and I love to see what he's been practising and what he can show in the freestyle heats afterwards. He learnt new tricks two weeks before the competition and manages to land them in the heats. But I actually have a lot more in my head that I would like to steal from other riders if I could!
