The second stage of the Dunkerbeck Speed Challenge 2025 is once again about the best speed over 250 metres. From 1 July to 31 August, windsurfers around the world will have the opportunity to compete in the virtual competition format.
As always, taking part in the Dunkerbeck Speed Challenge Summer Edition is as easy as can be: Interested windsurfers simply need to register for free on the gps-speedsurfing.com and join the "Dunkerbeck Speed Challenge - Summer Edition" event. To record their rides, participants can either use GPS devices from brands such as Coros, Garmin and Suunto or the free Waterspeed app. After uploading the data, the riders can view their position in the online ranking.
A particular attraction of the event is the opportunity to compete with windsurfers from all over the world. Regardless of age and ability, participants can put their speed to the test. The best speed over 250 metres decides the Summer Edition rankings. The presence on various online platforms and in social media gives participants additional visibility. The organisers are calling for speed content to be shared using the hashtag #dunkerbeckspeedchallenge and tagging the account @dunkerbeck_speed_challenge.
As a special incentive, all registered participants have the chance to win attractive prizes. At the end of all three events in the 2025 season, exclusive prizes from partners and sponsors will be raffled off. After the kick-off and now the Summer Edition, the third phase will follow in October and November, then again with a new focus.
If you would like to support the Dunkerbeck Speed Challenge, you can become a member of the VIP team. You will then receive a clothing package with a T-shirt, longsleeve, hoodie and cap, all personalised with the name of the purchaser! More information at dsc@fuerte-action.com
