Action on the water is guaranteed at the Surf Games in Podersdorf, even without wind
The "Surf Games 2022" will take place in Podersdorf from 16 to 18 September. The special thing about it: all sports are represented, everyone can take part!

According to the organisers, the focus is on the diversity of surfing, with the competitions on Podersdorf's surf beach covering a wide range of disciplines and skill levels. Everyone is welcome to take part in the contests - not just the pros!

In addition to the Austrian windsurfing championships, the programme also includes wingsurf cross, SUP and kitesurfing. Anyone can take part in the "Vitamin Well 4 Miles Race", whether windsurfer, winger or kitesurfer. There is a mass start and the riders are categorised by board class. If there is not enough wind, SUP, wake, windsurf tow-in and foil pump contests will be organised.

The big test festival on Podersdorf beach starts on Friday 16 September. The latest equipment from well-known SUP, wing, kite and windsurfing brands can then be viewed and tested directly on Lake Neusiedl. Exhibitors from other sports and the camping sector will also be on site.

Tobi is our digital man, he looks after the surf website and social media channels and gets on everyone's nerves every morning by asking for more pictures and videos. His surfing CV includes all the famous choppy water spots: As a teenager, he went from his home in Münsterland to the Ijsselmeer or the Brouwersdam, and during his civilian service on Sylt, after countless washes on the west side, the Königshafen became his preferred spot. After studying in Kiel and Heidkate, he was supposed to go to Hamburg “only for a short time”, but this short time has lasted for over ten years and has made him a “weekend warrior”. He goes on tour with his family and camper van as often as possible, often to the Baltic Sea, SPO or Denmark, but also likes to go to Finland, Sweden or Sardinia.
