A look back at a stormy autumn at home and gorgeous, warm Caribbean spots await you in the first surf issue of 2024, on sale every Tuesday from now on! We also give you tips on how to get faster - from free to bigger investments.

The major storm in the Baltic Sea that caused devastating damage to the coast in October was certainly an event that raised tempers. On the one hand, a small group of extreme sports enthusiasts who found excellent windsurfing conditions at some spots, and on the other, people who lost their belongings. Some surfers were heavily criticised on social media, not only for surfing on the storm days, but also for posting pictures of radical surf action. We look at the events of the storm day and look ahead to the 2024 season.

Other autumn storms were less dramatic, but also produced spectacular images. We show the best action shots of the windy autumn of 2024 in the North Sea, Baltic Sea, Atlantic and inland!

Speed is still an important criterion for many windsurfers. Whether it's to burn off your mate on the lake, to use GPS to push up your own top scores or simply to enjoy the feeling. But how do you get faster? We have tried out various approaches to get more kilometres per hour on the speedometer.
