May is THE windsurfing month par excellence - the winter break is now definitely over, the spots are filling up thanks to public holidays and long weekends and the temperatures should also be slowly pointing towards summer. In this respect, there is still a lot of room for improvement, but there are still a few days to go until the surf festival on Fehmarn. The festival on Ascension weekend is the centrepiece of the surfing month of May, and in the new issue we show you all the highlights you shouldn't miss!

Freeriders are and rightly remain the most popular and important board class. But not all freeriders are the same, as our big test on Tobago clearly showed. We compared ten 2024 boards around 115 litres. The test candidates don't differ much in terms of measurable performance, but they couldn't be more different in terms of riding experience. From the pleasure rider to the manoeuvring freerider to the comfortable hobby racer, there is something for everyone!
