The fourth day of competition at the 2026 Tiree Wave Classic on 13 October brought plenty of action on the water. With cross-onshore conditions at Balephuil, three divisions took to the water. Ben Proffitt dominated the Masters category ahead of Scotty McDowell and Dave Horrocks. In the Amateur category, Sam Field came out on top, thereby qualifying for a place in the Professional division.
The first heats featuring the professionals have already given us a taste of what to expect in the finals, which are taking place today in winds of 40 knots and above. Lucas Meldrum, two-time champion of the Tiree Wave Classic, put in an outstanding performance and achieved the highest score of the day among all competitors. Justyna Sniady also breezed through the first round of the women’s competition.
