As part of the German Windsurf Cup, five events will take place on the North Sea and Baltic Sea in 2025, plus four further international ProAm Windsurf Cups.

The organisers of the German Windsurf Cup have published the updated regatta calendar for the 2025 season. This means that there will be five DWV events on the North Sea and Baltic Sea in the coming season:

The starting signal will be given at the traditional Summer Opening on Sylt, where this year's event will take place at Whitsun from 5-9 June in various disciplines. Less than a month later, the regatta entourage will be visiting the Bay of Lübeck, where the Cup will be held in Pelzerhaken on 4-6 July. Further events will take place in Sankt-Peter-Ording (17-20 July) and again on Sylt (29 July-3 August). The DWC Tour 2025 will conclude with the event in Heiligenhafen from 4-7 September.

In addition to the five events on the North Sea and Baltic Sea, there will once again be the ProAm Windsurf Cups which are included in the ranking list with a lower factor. These events are primarily aimed at beginners and newcomers to regatta sport. "But also for the established cuppers"according to the organiser Choppy Water, "The ProAms are intended to be a good opportunity to gain competition practice, fine-tune new equipment and maybe even achieve a missing result for the annual ranking list."

The first ProAm Windsurf Cup starts on Lake Garda from 12-13 April 2025 and is organised by Windsurfing Austria together with Circolo Surf Torbole. The fin racers will continue from 1-4 May 2025 at Austria's top spot Lake Neusiedl, also organised by Windsurfing Austria. These two kick-off regattas are primarily intended to give the southern German Cuppers the opportunity to score points close to home.

On 10-11 May, Lake Dümmer will be celebrating its ProAm Windsurf Cup premiere, which should be of particular interest to regatta fans from western Germany and the Netherlands. But the Dümmer, with its easy sailing conditions, could also be an ideal place for many newcomers to the sport. A ProAm will also be held on the North Sea for the first time this year, from 23-24 August in Wesermünde. However, due to the tidal area, this regatta will be fully focussed on Fin Slalom.

This means that there will be a total of nine ranking list regattas as part of the German Windsurf Cup in 2025. A maximum of the best four results of each rider will be added up for the annual ranking list. Choppy Water: "So you don't have to ride the entire Tour to win the top German series. If you want to compete for victory, you have to compete in the top events. But if you just want to have fun at windsurfing contests, you can simply choose the events that suit you in terms of spots and dates."

Information and registration for the events of the German Windsurf Cup can be found on the organiser's website.
