Storck Bicycle, which claims to be one of the leading premium manufacturers of high-performance bikes, and windsurfing icon Björn Dunkerbeck are launching an exclusive partnership in the field of electric mountain bikes. The 42-time windsurfing world champion and his two sons will be using Storck's innovative EMTBs for training and adventures from February 2025 to January 2027.
Björn Dunkerbeck will use the Storck EMTBs both in training and in his free time. He will test the bikes intensively and put their performance to the test in a wide variety of environments. As a brand ambassador for Storck Bicycle, he embodies the philosophy and innovative strength of the brand and brings his many years of experience in extreme sports and his tireless drive for new challenges to the partnership, according to a press release
Biking as the ideal complement to windsurfing
Dunkerbeck sees biking as the ideal complement to windsurfing. He explains: "Biking has always been the best and most fun training supplement to windsurfing. I've been travelling with Shimano XTR since 1986 and have climbed most of the mountains on Gran Canaria in that time - all the way up to Roque Nublo." The water sports champion particularly appreciates the opportunities that e-bikes have offered him for almost ten years: "I really enjoy the fact that I can strengthen my grip again, control my heart rate and still have fun."

From challenging mountain tours to fast trails along the coast - the EMTBs from Storck will be able to prove their versatility on the Canary Islands.

Both partners will be represented at the Surf Festival on Fehmarn, which takes place from 29 May to 1 June 2025.
