The Danish Open is an agnet for many North German windsurfers and Cold Hawaii fans
The registration deadline for the Danish Open Windsurf Wave and Freestyle Championships 2025 has passed! The event from 7 to 9 June offers competitions in several classes and is part of the PWA/WWT Tour. The legendary Surfjoint Festival will take place at the same time.

If you want to take part in the Danish Open 2025 at the Cold Hawaii spots around Klitmøller, you should register soon! The open Danish wave and freestyle championships are traditionally a magnet for many German competitors. The first event will take place from 7 to 9 June, followed by the second round in autumn from 16 to 19 October.

Contest, fun and festival in Cold Hawaii

Competitions will be held in the wave and freestyle disciplines, each for the categories Master, A, B, Junior and Women (Y). While the A class is about the title of Danish Champion, the B class is intended as a relaxed fun contest ("with sausages between the heats"). The event thus offers a platform for professionals as well as up-and-coming talent and amateurs to demonstrate their skills.

The event is not only the Danish championship, but also part of the PWA World Tour and the World Windsurfing Tour (WWT, formerly IWT). Participants can therefore collect valuable points for the world and European rankings. In the freestyle area, the results are also included in the Freestyle Pro Tour ranking. Parallel to the competitions, the Surfjoint Festival will take place under the motto "Back to the Roots" and will provide additional entertainment.
