Wave finale on Maui: Hotel Playa Surf El Medano Tenerife is the title sponsor of the Aloha Classic

Some time ago, the IWT announced a new title sponsor for the Aloha Classic on Maui, now it's out: Hotel Playa Surf El Medano Tenerife is supporting the legendary contest, which will also be the big wave finale this year. surf was exclusively informed of this by IWT.

The "2024 Aloha Classic Hotel Playa Surf El Medano Tenerife Grand Final" is also supported by the US fashion label Sundek. Bruch Boards and Goya Windsurfing are also among the sponsors of the event on legendary Hookipa Beach.

"We are very excited about the support we have received for the Grand Final this year," says IWT Tour Director Simeon Glasson. "It's amazing to see and feel the windsurfing world coming together to finally achieve real and measurable growth." He sees this as an encouraging sign: "The industry may be in the doldrums at the moment, but the future looks bright for the fast-growing Unified World Wave Tour."

The Hotel Playa Surf El Medano had already supported the World Cup in Tenerife, which was organised by Dany Bruch.

This year's Aloha Classic runs from 21 October to 1 November, when the new wave world champions will be determined off Hookipa. A total of 20,000 dollars in prize money will be distributed equally between men and women.
