Tricks like Yentel Caers or the first steps: The Kids Camp offers optimal training conditions
Watch out kids and teenagers aged between 9 and 18: At the Kids Camp on Rhodes, professionals will show you the first steps in windsurfing or the trick you just want to learn!

"This camp is all about pushing your windsurfing skills to the next level. Whether you want to learn planing, harness riding, the power jibe or a freestyle manoeuvre," say the organisers. The camp runs from 5 to 13 August at the Pro Centre in Prasonisi on Rhodes.

The coaches include JP-Australia/NeilPryde team rider Marco Lufen and VDWS instructor Hendrik Holzhauer. "You can expect lots of fun, maximum water time and professional coaching on land and on the water," they promise.

A day at the Kids Camp will basically consist of two water sessions, with appropriate preparation and follow-up. "We will mainly be windsurfing," write the organisers. There will also be other activities on the water such as wing- and windfoiling or SUP. There will also be activities on land, such as games and barbecues.

The costs are made up of equipment hire and accommodation, all training costs are covered by NeilPryde and JP-Australia. Further information can be found here. All parents who have booked windsurfing equipment at the Pro Centre Prasonisi can also use the latest wing equipment from NeilPryde free of charge. You can stay in one of the many accommodations in Prasonisi, such as the Hotel Oasis.

Tobi is our digital man, he looks after the surf website and social media channels and gets on everyone's nerves every morning by asking for more pictures and videos. His surfing CV includes all the famous choppy water spots: As a teenager, he went from his home in Münsterland to the Ijsselmeer or the Brouwersdam, and during his civilian service on Sylt, after countless washes on the west side, the Königshafen became his preferred spot. After studying in Kiel and Heidkate, he was supposed to go to Hamburg “only for a short time”, but this short time has lasted for over ten years and has made him a “weekend warrior”. He goes on tour with his family and camper van as often as possible, often to the Baltic Sea, SPO or Denmark, but also likes to go to Finland, Sweden or Sardinia.
