At the same time, he was at the top of the World Cup in waves for a long time and stood on the podium several times at spots such as Gran Canaria and Maui.
The 45-minute film is about his life and his job as a successful windsurfing pro, which Josh lived 24/7 and took very seriously - on the water and on land.
He by no means dragged out his intense career and ended it in the early 2000s after a good ten years on tour, when the generation around Ricardo Campello entered the scene, whom Josh took under his wing in Maui at the beginning.
For windsurfing fans, this look back at the heyday of Aloha Man can be a real treat - especially on a rainy winter evening.
