World Cup Pozo 2025: No heats on day 5 but crashes with goosebumps factor
The swell took a break on day 5 of the World Cup Pozo. Instead, the PWA released a crash video of the first few days that will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.

The wind in Pozo didn't stop on day five either. However, as the wind field is currently very limited locally, there were almost no waves at all - the protagonists were therefore given a break before the conditions should improve again at the end of the World Cup. So while the riders were licking their wounds yesterday, the PWA media team was all the busier and hastily edited together the best crashes of the first few days - and there were plenty of crashes, especially on the first weekend when the wind was firing from all cylinders at up to 55 knots.

So buckle up for the hardest crashes of the World Cup Pozo 2025.

In the remaining days, the regatta organisers are likely to focus on the women's double elimination. In the preliminary round Daida Moreno celebrated an impressive comeback and of course she wants to defend her place in the sun in the second half of the season. As soon as the action in Pozo picks up again, we'll keep you up to date here on the website.
