Get a taste of the mountain air and do it as easily as possible. Freeride foil boards have everything you need to get into foiling quickly and easily. You can find out what makes for the best flights in part 1+2 of our test.

"Send us your best board/foil combo for easy take-off, relaxed cruising, sleek jibes for freeride foilers and beginners in the world of flying" - that was our test request to the manufacturers. In the first part of our foil test (to be read in surf 6-2020) you will find five board/foil sets from Fanatic, Indiana, Slingshot, Starboard and Tabou/GA. In the second part of the test (in surf 7-2020), we present further products from Naish, RRD and JP/Neilpryde. You will also find a comparison of pure foil concepts with hybrid boards for windsurfing and foiling here.
