On land: With its many strap positions (freeride race, freeride cruise, freeride manoeuvres), the Eagle actually meets all the requirements of this group. The footpads are also extra thickly padded under the heels. The underwater hull is classic with a continuous, flat V, the shape is unchanged from last year. The fin is tightened with a tommy screw.

On the water: The Eagle has been known for several seasons now as a sporty, free, harder and more direct freeride board. The board is stable enough on the rail for beginner jibes ("learning power jibes"), but it can really inspire with full-speed carving jibes. It offers a lot of grip and, above all, glides very well through the turn.

This characteristic also benefits the board for classic freestyle moves: "It couldn't be easier to learn the backwind jibe," was one of the testers' comments. Good glide potential in the turn, paired with a prompt response to foot control, makes it possible. On top of that, the Eagle jumps lively and light-footed - as you would expect from an expensive LTD version - and conquers the lower airspace at the spot. This is a home game for the "Eagle". Sliding around on the ground floor - slid new school freestyle - is less suited to the board.

All in all, the Eagle once again presents itself as a very balanced, performance-oriented freemove board that encourages sporty jibes, planing manoeuvres and accelerating in equal measure.
