On land: The glider is narrow and long and if you think of the rounded square tail and the rounded square nose as elongated, the board is actually virtually even longer, which explains the stretched, straight look.
On the water: The Lorch glider fleet has been known for years for its smooth gliding performance and particularly good jibing characteristics. And the 115, which has not yet been tested, has nothing to hide. In the outer loop position, you are ideally positioned for accelerating and, as expected, the glider ignites the first stage immediately after the tight recovery, accelerates very well, becomes really fast and glides on just as smoothly when the wind drops, as you already know from other glider models. At the end of the speed run, the narrow board is easy to steer into the jibe and medium radii are as easy, fast and fluid as you could wish for - especially in smooth water. In choppy water, the Glider requires sensitive steering and is not one of those boards that seeks out its own path. For tight turns you need a lot more pressure, it rarely gets really snappy - the Glider remains a classic power jibe and carving machine. Even in conditions that are not too rough, it is sufficiently stable and stays on the edge easily, making it suitable for power jibing newbies. On the straight, however, the board wags lively and conveys an agile board feeling, the free gliding position motivates to hearty chop hops.
