Surf recommendation: The Rocket will become "everybody's darling" and is perfect for all surfers who want to surf fast and sporty, but don't want to compromise on easy handling and also want to use a freerace sail with two cambers. The ideal sail range is slightly higher than that of the 3S (5.7 to 7.8). If your power jibe rate is still below 50 per cent, the forgiving Rocket is the right choice for you.

On land: Compared to the 3S, the Rocket has a more elongated design and offers the option of mounting the straps further out, allowing the board to be tuned for more performance. Shaper Fabien Vollenweider also uses a double concave V in the underwater hull of the Rocket, which is particularly pronounced in the bow area to allow the board to be used smoothly in choppy waves.

On the water: Time and again, we also give our test boards to "normal" end customers to get additional feedback. We usually hear nothing but praise for the Rocket: "Totally easy to ride, fast and I've even glided through a few jibes." We can also confirm these impressions, because hardly any other board makes it so easy to surf fast. The board ignores choppy waves as well as possible and even if the board doesn't fly as freely as the sportiest boards in the group, you're almost as fast thanks to the excellent control. The Rocket is stable and "climber-friendly" on the edge with plenty of grip and also offers great planing potential. Only very tight radii are not one of its absolute strengths.
