The Nano glides as freely as the Starboard Go, but is a little more sluggish and absorbs the wave movements around the transverse axis a little more. This means that the board is not quite as loose and sporty, but it is easier to control, as you never have to worry about the board rising uncontrollably at the front in gusts. This makes the Nano more uncomplicated and fun to ride - you can feel that you have a modern shape under your feet that encourages you to accelerate or cruise with pleasure.
At top speed, the Nano is one of the faster boards in the group. So fast that you should take some steam out before the jibe. Because if you want to put pressure on the rail, you'll be in for a surprise, as it tends to go straight ahead. Get off the throttle and glide through wide turns with the board set quite flat - that's the way to go.
