Together with the Bic, the Fanatic offers the best riding performance within the group, but is also less comfortable and more sporty and direct. The board planes very well, becomes fast and runs freely over the fin and therefore has comparatively good height.
Nevertheless, it feels quite large and a little sluggish underfoot, you can feel that it is one of the longest boards in the test. This in turn makes the Fanatic easy to planing and ensures that the board reacts less sensitively to load errors in this difficult phase.
With the Fanatic board, you can make very dashing power jibes in the water, and the board also planes very well. All in all, it is one of the sportiest freeride boards in the group.
