Instead of short and wide, Fanatic has opted for a longer outline on the entry-level Viper board. A combination with a more elongated rocker line should allow the Viper to start sliding earlier and provide a gliding experience.
"With this board shape and support from the folding blade, novices also have no problems going upwind," says shaper Seb Wenzel, emphasising another advantage. A soft deck provides a gentle atmosphere on the upper deck, while the handle on the nose ensures easy transport. With a tuning kit (longer fin, cover for the centreboard box), the Viper can be converted into a fun board.
