Eleven eight hundred and fifteen - that's the toll-free number that gets good surfers planing straight away. The sporty freeriders can handle modern sails of up to eight square metres and the planing fun starts at eleven knots. There is no board for everyone, but there is a suitable board for every type - the 13 freeriders in the 115-litre class cover the entire spectrum from manoeuvre specialists to good-natured all-rounders and racing bowls. The fertiliser for this colourful diversity is the different customer requirements for boards of this size. In contrast to pure specialist boards with a rather one-sided requirement profile - such as the 75-litre wave boards - the 115s are used by sporty racers who also want to take part in a light wind speed contest, as well as sporty intermediates from the heavy board class who want to learn the power jibe. Others are even looking for a one-in-all board in this size, which should of course cover the widest possible range of use.
