On land: Large pads ensure comfort and the internal double strap at the back is also suitable for intermediates. At 2.56 metres, it is the longest board despite the square tail and nose, and the design visually reinforces this impression.
On the water: The 142 seemed a bit like a zeppelin in the group: large, quiet, sublime and super comfortable. The objective potential is easily underestimated. The board is anything but slow - you just don't feel as fast on it. The board can easily cope with a 9-power sail, glides smoothly even without sensitive load tricks and achieves a good average speed.
When jibing, you can't expect the "Grafen" to have the same speed in the turn as an F16. On the other hand, power jibes in planing are easier and safer than with any other board of this width and on top of that you come out of the turn with good speed.
surf recommendation: For large sails, intermediates and pleasure cruisers.
