On land: As always, Lorch doesn't experiment with the design, but the polished underwater hull certainly looks classy. The comfortable straps can be attached in a very racy and a more relaxed freeride position. At 42 centimetres, the fin is slightly shorter than on most other boards of this size.
On the water: The Breeze makes it clear from the very first few metres who it was designed for: sporty freeriders who are looking for a light and agile, lively board to heat up and don't mind the slightly more direct feel. Despite the slightly smaller fin, the Breeze planes very well and immediately converts gusts into speed, hanging very freely and lightly on the foot. This characteristic is also continued in the jibe, the Breeze can be chased light-footedly, i.e. without having to apply a lot of edge pressure, in all radii and takes the speed well through the turn. However, the more sensitive board requires a little more riding skill to keep it on track. Those who are just learning the power jibe will certainly find boards within the group that are easier to ride and jibe. Everyone else should like the agility and bite of the Lorch, because boredom is never an option.
